Nous remercions chaleureusement Rémi Engel de nous avoir autorisé à reproduire son travail.
Music Interface/Game prototype for Rémi Engel’s graduation project at ENSAD, Paris.
This video is just a direct screen capture, whereas it is normally played with a touch screen. The idea is to re-play each looping instrument with the correct timing, or to improvise with the limited set of sounds available.
Each sound has a direct visual representation, reinforcing the physical relationship between the user and the music, by building over time an ever-changing audiovisual figure with which he can interact.
Please note that the video is a bit lagging and out of sync due to the screen capture + compression.
